The Air Fest afternoon formalities commence at 12:30pm  with the Civil Air Patrol and Riverside District Cub Scouts presenting the flag of colors, leading up to the National Anthem, sung by Brevard County "Best Vocalist" award winner, Julia Faith.

     Following the national anthem will be jumpers from Skydive Sebastian  parachuting in formation with a large American Flag display, that transitions to the start of the afternoon aerobatic performances.     _________________________________________________

     The Valkaria Airfest Team is proud to celebrate the spirit, innovation, and excellence of human flight with the cubscouts of Central Florida Council’s Riverside district, who host the Valkaria Airfest Cubscout Family Campout.   A special part of the Air Fest foundation, the growing tradition of the VAF scout campout provides an exciting, unique experience to local scouts while fostering the love and fascination of flight in the next generation.

     The Civil Air Patrol (C.A.P.) is an auxiliary component of the U.S. Air Force and the cadet program is open to students grades 7 through 12.  It is designed to develop aerospace knowledge, strong leadership qualities, and citizenship using aerospace education and Air Force methods, traditions & customs.

     Local Air Force resources are incorporated into the program which includes facilities at Patrick AFB and Cape Canaveral AFS.
